Political Career of Alhaji Lai Mohammed
Lai Mohammed served as Chief of Staff to former governor of Lagos state, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In May 2002, Alhaji Lai Mohammed was a candidate in the gubernatorial elections of 2003 in Kwara State under the platform of the Alliance for Democracy.
He was also the National Publicity Secretary to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), a post which he held until when he was appointed and assigned the portfolio of the Minister of Information in Nigeria by the Senate.
