Recently in Lagos, Uber has become a popular option when trying to move from one place to another. Unlike in the past were the yellow taxis or cab were reigning. Uber seems to have become the popular choice of many residents.

However, Uber do not only operate in Lagos. The history of Uber can be first traced to Paris when Travis Kalanick and Garrett Camp found it difficult to hire a cab, that was when the idea of tapping a button on your phone to find a ride began.

Thanks to the Uber app, you can easily get your driver to your location with a tap and pay with either your card or in cash.

Since its inception, Uber began in some metropolitan areas, using specific black cars to provide their cab services. Since the company has evolved over the years, it has moved to about over 600 cities across the globe and interestingly, Lagos is one of the cities where to find Uber in Nigeria.

The advantage of using Uber is that anyone can partner with them, not minding the gender. Even if you are a male or female, you can become an Uber partner as long as you have the car that fits their specs. With this initiative, the company affords you the opportunity to start earning money via Uber by offering rides.
